Directed by Bar Manager Anthony Keels, Verbena’s bar features a dynamic and innovative beverage program that highlights our commitment to sourcing the finest ingredients and small batch products available. Our bartenders hand-craft unique liqueurs and infusions to create our signature cocktails, with a balance of spiritous mixtures and seasonal cocktails. We carry a wide selection of Amari from around the globe, barrel age cocktails, and single-origin coffee liquour.
Michael Ireland (French Laundry, Quince, Restaurant at Meadowood) oversees the producer-focused wine program. The list features a variety of wines from a limited number of small producerswho are committed to low input methods including organics, biodynamics, dry farming and other sustainable viticulture practices. The wines we choose are carefully selected to exhibit the best each wine region has to offer.
Much like our wines, the beers we offer at Verbena are brewed by small-scale producers. We source most of our beer from within the Bay Area and highlight the work of independent, pioneering craft brewers.
